The construction of the main building of the estate goes back to the 1550s. In more recent times it was converted to an elegant family home, maintaining the architectural integrity of the original building. In the proximities you will also see other ancient buildings that once were barns and houses for the workers.

High above the plains of Lucca, in the tiny village of Gignano di Brancoli, you find this former part of a small monastery. Cozy small and very old house, renewed around year 2000. The house is serviced by English speaking neighbors. They help you with whatever you need. No wifi, free parking 200 m from house (often busy, so sometimes you must walk a bit more). No public transport except school bus. If you bring your own bedsheets & towels, we will refund you 15€ of the cleaning fee.

A 5.5M pool is going to be installed by early May 2025 , which will be totally enclosed with railings and gate which will have a safety system for children

Nell'antica legnaia è stata creata una zona benessere esclusiva di Casa Pietra, dove troviamo una vasca idromassaggio ed una sauna ad infrarossi. Un luogo dove trovare vero relax. La zona spa ha degli orari ; 8.00 alle 23 00.

There is a place a few steps away from the famous VERSILIA (Tuscany) called BORGOMETATO. Here various structures have been designed by the Architect Stefano Viviani, who has realized In each of them, a very refined style respectful to the place. Il Borgo di Metato is surrounded by olive trees, lots of green spaces and there are some donkeys for the joy of children. La Cipressa is part of this place.
