Da Shabby Moose has found a new space to share. We moved to wine country near Palisade. The sun kisses the earth here, thus sun lovers will thrive. Wines and Orchards are plentiful in this area. The view is incredible. Our outdoor shower is where you can soak up the sun while appreciating the beautiful views. Our space is peaceful and serene. Currently only 2 tents to keep it that way. Tents still have air conditioning, but until shade is added, they don't keep the tent cool in heat of the day.

Located less than a mile from public access to the Gunnison River, and to to hunting Units 54 and 55. 1.5 hr to Black Canyon Nat'l Park as well! It is not a campground, guest ranch, or shared retreat. When you book Orchard Camp, you have exclusive access to the orchard area, with space to relax, soak, cook out, enjoy the quiet, and take in the stars.

The tent is furnished with a wood burning stove, table and chairs, and a queen bed, with plenty of room for 2 other sleeping bags. Outside waiting for you is a picnic table, a fire pit, and a stack of cut wood. Bristlecone Camp is centrally located on the ranch, in a secluded wood of bristlecone pines and aspens with a beautiful panorama and inspiring 360’ view.
