Ideal for walkers, we are less than a mile from the South West Coast Path. Although very rural, we are within walking distance of two pubs, the New Inn at Veryan and The Ship at Portloe. The village shop & post office are at Veryan for your added convenience.

Our beautiful bespoke shepherd's hut, The Idle Hour, enjoys a stunning location overlooking the North Cornish coast with panoramic sea views from Trebarwith to Tintagel church. Close to beautiful beaches, the SW Coast Path and only a few minutes drive from Tintagel Village. Get away from it all, going back to basics but with a few luxuries such as an ensuite bathroom (shower), 100% cotton bedding and kitchenette. Our idyllic shepherd’s hut is perfect for a quiet holiday. We’re off the beaten track, in a small hamlet, with nearby large farm shop/restaurant. We're just a ten minute drive to the long, sandy beach at Gwithian in St Ives bay. The hut is at the end of our big garden, overlooking fields and has its own outside eating area and fire pit/bbq. There’s a wood stove inside for cosy evenings. This is also a good place to work - quiet and with a table by the window, with views across fields.
