Runway Cabin: Private Ensuite + Free Flight!

Let's go fly! Book for 2 nights or more and get a free flight around the local area! The cabin boasts a direct view of the private runway. Located at the Pilot Lodge, there is plenty of room for your vehicles, aircraft, etc. Drive in or fly-in! The cabin is located right next to our Boeing 727 airplane lodge where you are welcome to BBQ grill on the wing deck or play some ping pong in the fuselodge! There is also a full washer and dryer in another cabin (just about 75' away from your cabin).

Deshka Landing Charters & Lodge is a 90 minute drive northwest of Anchorage. We are off the beaten path surrounded by the beauty and wildlife of Alaska. A good hub while you explore Central Alaska including: Denali National Park, Matanuska Glacier, Talkeetna and Hatcher Pass. The Sockeye dry cabin has it’s own mini-fridge, microwave, heater and electricity. All bathrooms/showers are shared and located in the main lodge. Quaint stay in heart of Wasilla

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Close to downtown Wasilla and only minutes away from restaurants. Take a 30 min drive to the top of Hatcher’s Pass and visit the Independence Mine and take a scenic drive over to Willow. Take a 1 hr drive to Talkeetna. Or go the opposite direction 1.5 hrs to Matanuska Glacier and take a guided tour out on the glacier! NO SMOKERS please as we live here as well and don’t enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke around our home. Thank you.
