We are delighted to invite you to our ancient, and completely renovated, "Il Gallo" (the rooster) Bed and Breakfast in the Tuscan hillside above the walled Roman town of Lucca. After a 15 minute drive up from Lucca you will find yourselves surrounded by olive groves with stunning views out over the mountainsides and valleys. Your room After leaving your car in the shade of the olive trees, after just a few steps you will be at the private entrance to your romantic bedroom with lovely views from every window - even from the shower! There is an en-suite bathroom complete with toiletteries and hairdryer. There is a small pantry with a fridge, microwave, kettle and necessities to prepare a picknick and/or aperitivo to be enjoyed on your terrace. Ceiling fan for hot summer nights!

Here in Montegonfoli you can spend a vacation in absolute relax, in an enchanted natural context, far from the noise but at the same time very close to the most beautiful attractions of the world. First floor with amazing views on San Gimignano and Chianti Hills. No aircon, but every bedroom has a large fan for the few hot nights we are getting in July/August. We usually have 15°C!

Margherita fino all'accesso di una strada bianca, l'indicazione Bosco dell'Iris Nero vi conduce, lungo un percorso di 900 metri, alla locazione. Qui vi sono castagni, ulivi, fiori e la piacevole vista della valle. Si possono incontrare caprioli, istrici e cinghiali. Il cuculo, l'upupa, il picchio abitano il bosco circostante.

You won’t need to walk much to enjoy the famous landmarks of Lucca: Your private view is over the most famous Lucca attraction: the Amphitheatre Square or the Lucca Colosseum in the Roman Times.

On request I’ll be happy to prepare for you a delicious Italian breakfast or other meals but, remember, these service are not included in the price and not available on Sunday.
