The beautiful family-run farm sits atop its own hill, overlooking the Merse river valley. The estate is spread over two thousand acres of land covering fairy tale woodlands, fantastic cypress avenues, holm oak and cork oak trees, fields of wheat, barley, sunflowers and maze, and groves of 3,000 olive trees from which a delicious DOP extra virgin olive oil is made. Each farmhouse has been renovated in great detail, the style, décor and charm of Montestigliano make it a special and unique destination for a wonderful, enjoyable and most importantly memorable holiday. The farm offers traditional Tuscan cooking classes and olive oil tastings, starlit dinners, pizza feasts and in-house private catering or massage services. While the surrounding area presents numerous opportunities to go on peaceful strolls in nature, taste typical dishes at local restaurants, go horse riding or on bicycle tours, visit a local market, relax in a hot spring or take an afternoon dip in the nearby river. Or you can enjoy a day trip to the seaside ending with a plate of delicious fresh fish, and of course, let’s not forget the region’s multitude of local wineries offering an exquisite array of wines from both the areas of Chianti and Val d’Orcia, to be samples alongside a platter of local cheeses and cold cuts. This delightful first floor apartment is located just 300m below the main group of houses and the swimming pools, it is surrounded by the family’s olive groves while the south facing furnished balcony overlooks the Merse valley, woodlands and the hilltop village of Orgia. It sleeps up to 4 guests (approx. 80sq m), in one double and one twin bedroom. An external stone staircase leads to the entrance of this charming rural Tuscan apartment, located in a large traditional farmhouse building alongside another apartment. It has a beautiful yet rustic open-plan kitchen/living/dining room with a large traditional alcove fireplace. The cute covered balcony is the perfect spot for sun-kissed alfresco breakfasts or a local glass of wine as you unwind after a day of exploring the local area.

L'appartamento si trova nel centro storico, a poca distanza da magnifiche chiese, luoghi storici e bar, in cui fare una dolce sosta. i parcheggi sono al di fuori delle mura di Montepulciano, ci sono parcheggi liberi ed a pagamento, proprio fuori la porta di Bacco si trova un parcheggio libero e salendo delle scalette si può accedere al centro storico. In paese passa il Pollicino ogni 10 minuti, piccolo autobus che percorre tutto il paese. Inoltre nella parte bassa del paese c'è la stazione degli autobus. linee per Chianciano per la stazione ferroviaria di Chiusi, per Firenze,Siena ed Arezzo. durante il soggiorno estivo gli ospiti potranno trascorrere una giornata in piscina presso la nostra abitazione in campagna.
