I use cotton blankets so that you can have any weight on your bed that you would like. You are welcome to stack seven or more blankets at a time. We have two kids of our own (3 and 4) and we've set up the space to be comfortable for families traveling. There is ample space for everyone to spread out with a queen bed, 2 full size futons, and a crib included in the space.
