The property is a portion of a 16th Century Casa Colonica (a typical Tuscan farmhouse) situated atop a hill surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and sprawling views of the surrounding hills. The village of San Vincenzo a Torri and of Ginestra Fiorentina are respectively 2km away grocery and bakery stores, pharmacy, bank, restaurant, news stands, and petrol stations are within minutes from the house. Only 16km (10miles) to Florence the toll free highway is 3km from the house. Car is a must.

Also think that in 20 minutes drive you are into Florence downtown. Well, this is the place! To get all this you have to climb three flights of stairs with no lift. But you'll see it surely worth the effort.

These upcoming 7 months will be the final season for MuseumSuite, in Jan 2027, the property will be sold and transformed into a private family residence. It has been an absolute honor and a privilege to welcome guests from all walks of life. Come and live with us; enjoy the olive trees, the kitchen garden, our horse Astro and our family life style, away from the working rhythm. By providing wifi only in the communal courtyard we suggest to take a break from been connected with elsewhere and enjoy the 'here and now' . But if you need to work you can rent a portable private connection from us.

The Tower was created in the late 1800s by an illustrious Englishman, Sir John Temple Leader, in one of the oldest and most important stone quarries belonging to the Medici family. From the same quarry were extracted many important works such as the columns of the Medici chapels, the steps of the Laurenziana library .. all just 5 km from the historic center of Florence.

L'alloggio è dotato di raffrescamento per i mesi estivi anche se i muri molto spessi in pietra garantiscono una temperatura gradevole anche in estate.
