The location is amazing, but the house is extremely dated and full of clutter. The kitchen has no dishwasher and is not to US standards to cook because of clutter and cleanliness. There was one old barbecue with no bottom. The metal was eroded away from the ocean salt water. You can only have one hot shower and everyone that follows will have warm to cold water unless you wait 30 minutes between showers. There was lots of mosquitoes and bugs inside the house. Every evening, we had one or two lizards inside the house. The air-conditioning is not Central it is by individual rooms.

This place is amazing, clean, spacious & the location is perfect since you can walk to la 5ta Ave & you have the beach right in front of you. The communication was excellent with the host and Luisa was very courteous with us. Hope to come back next year 😊

La casa es amplia y muy cómoda! Esta muy cerca de la quinta avenida así que es perfecta para salir en la noche a cenar o ir de compras! Aunque al estar al lado del mar lo único que se te antoja es estar ahí y no salir! Excelente experiencia!

The house was better than we expected from the description and the photos. The location is fantastic being on the water and very close to downtown Playa del Carmen. Service was great as well. Will consider returning.
