Scott’s place is amazing! I feel like this house is a lot like the Eleuthhera slogan “it’s not for everyone.” But it was for me and my family! The description and photos are VERY accurate so if it looks like the place for you, it probably is! Scott and the care taker, James, are so responsive and helped with taxi rides, rental cars, charter boat rides and great tips on lots to do. And the location!! To stand on that deck and look at that water! I could spend the rest of my life there and be happy. Current has numerous beaches that are beautiful on both Caribbean Atlantic side. This is a very special house in a very special place. I can’t wait to go back!

The treehouse is the perfect escape. The beach is shallow for quite a ways out and has perfectly clear water. We saw sting rays and small sharks right outside the treehouse although neither of them cared for us and swam away. The Current Cut which is a short walk away has excellent snorkelling. James, the caretaker, was incredible. He is friendly, helpful and him and a fellow named Adam took us out for a boat tour/snorkel which was a highlight of our trip. There are biting bugs that you can’t feel when the wind dies so wear bug spray if bugs like to bite you as the description says. We could not get over the beauty and serenity of this place the week we were there and would definitely come back!

I went here with my adult son for a week. It was everything we hoped it would be and was an accurate description. Like many other reviews stated, if you want a resort type experience, this is not it. But you have the place all to yourself, and it is right on the ocean. Very peaceful. Seeing the ocean everyday and going out into it was a special thing. If you want to see more of the island as we did, you definitely want to rent a car, and Scott helped line that up too with a nice woman walking distance from the tree house. We saw rays out front and what we think might have been a couple 4-5' sharks out quite a ways. Down from the place by the park in Current we saw a turtle as well. We also went out with James, a super nice local man nearby in his boat for snorkeling, getting lobster and fishing. James brought Adam with him who went in the water with us to help us find lobster. Adam is a super nice young man who lives on the island part time. We would go back in a heartbeat.

My family of four just left The Treehouse. It’s pretty rare to have accommodations on such a beautiful part of the ocean. During low tide, we walked out and enjoyed the sandbars. This is the perfect place if you are looking to unplug from the everyday grind. We cooked in, played board games and cards and had the time of our lives exploring this island. Our boat day with James the caretaker was our favorite day. We snorkeled nearby coral reefs and saw squid, puffer fish, blue tang and so much more. James also took us to this huge sandbar where we saw the starfish and stingray. This was such an unforgettable trip thanks to Scott and James.

We had a wonderful time at the Tree House! If you are looking for a resort this isn't it; however, if you are looking for simple, unique and secluded, plus an amazing location, this is your place. We felt we were at our own private oasis. Eat at Heathy Choice and walk across the street to the bakery. Also, make sure to spend at least a half day with James! We had such a wonderful time on his boat. Renting a car, at least a few days is a must, if nothing else but to be able to run to the grocery store, plus at least one day for the tourists sites, like the Sapphire Hole. can't wait to return!
