Quick one night stay at Ali's. She was super helpful and easy to communicate with! We had a great stay!

Considering that this is a remote and tropical island, some of the issues are understandable, but not all. The mold in the bathroom ceiling would be very hard to eradicate., however, the peeling paint in the shower ceiling should be taken care of. There should be glassware and plates. There were no glasses and only one small 4 inch plate. The outside patio area did not have the chairs as shown in the amenities picture. All the dispensers of soap were watered down and almost completely empty.  The bar soap was gross, numerous hairs, and spots of yuck.  was nice that a flashlight was included, but the batteries were not in the drawer as indicated.  the host had very clear instructions, and great recommendations about the island and the manager on site was very helpful and accommodating  and friendly. The deadbolt lock that was in the instructions was nonexistent.

Loved my stay here. The cottage is clean and quiet, and busses stop just down the road. I didn't meet Ali but correspondace with her was fluent, and Cindy and other staff at the spa were always super friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Ali was an extraordinary host. The location had good A/C and Wifi, which were my main concerns for traveling for work. Ali went far beyond her host needs to try to help when Hawaiian airlines lost my checked luggage, and knew I had difficulties in calling Hawaii or the Mainland over phone. If you need to stay in Tutuila, I highly recommend the Gecko Cottage.
