Christine had issues with her cleaning staff so our check in was delayed but she communicated this to us. She was very apologetic, friendly and outgoing. Christine was so nice to allow us to stay past the checkout time. Thanks, Christine, for making us feel like family.
Christine was an excellent host, very accommodating and even allowed us to check in a few minutes early. Would highly recommend and will be staying again next time we are in Beckley.
The property is well maintained and kept up and in the middle of a quiet residential area. Not immediately obvious from the listing information is the fact there seems to be a separate suite downstairs. It didn’t detract from our stay but sound travels between the separate units so we had to ask our kids to not be too loud in the early morning to not disturb other potential guests. Christine was very proactive and helpful in communicating check in procedures and providing recommendations for restaurants. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
Christine is very welcome and accommodating, the place is cozy and neat.

I'm a single mom living in wild, wonderful West Virginia. I and my daughters, who are in their final university years, have opened our home to travelers looking for a home-away-from-home. We understand the pleasure of comfort, clean beds, and warm hospitality. We love West Virginia and its never-ending opportunity for year-round recreation. Hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, rock climbing, and whitewater rafting are all to be found among the national parklands within a drive of less than a half hour from our door.
