We did not get to meet the hosts, though they left us a nice letter with helpful information. The setting is quiet and peaceful. The house is quaint and comfortable. We were there over Christmas and stayed warm and cozy, often using the gas fireplace. There were plenty extra blankets and towels. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking meals. The property is on water delivered to cistern, and septic sewer. We had no issues with either. Bottled water was provided for drinking, but I drank exclusively from the sink, and it was just fine. Upstairs bathroom and shower is small. Downstairs is larger tub with shower. Both worked well for us. The fridge and oven could have been cleaned a little better, but overall the place was neat and clean. Internet was so-so, but we knew up front, that would be the case. Though it became slow now and then, we never lost it completely. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would consider staying again.

We liked it so much this was our second stay in the Cabin for our annual hunting trip. It’s conveniently located to multiple cities and restaurants. It’s homey, inviting, has a well stocked kitchen if you want to cook, plenty of games, and the beds are super comfy. And to top it all off, the host is kind, gracious, and helpful.

The cabin itself was beautiful. First night was good but in the morning the host came &interrupted my family & I while having breakfast &asked how many of us there were. It was 5 of us but 2 of them decided to bring 2 children along last minute. The host rushed us to pay her an extra $80 for the 2 kids. She also said she was out of town the night before &that we had to be conservative with the water since she did not get a chance to fill the cistern. After we paid her, we were gone the whole day & returned to the cabin around 9pm. The power ended up going out completely at 11 pm, we were still up. We had food in the fridge,our phones were charging & the cabin was very hot so we had the AC on as well. I called the host & got no answer .I called Airbnb and notified them. They reached out & she let them know the power would be back on at 2:30 am. It didn’t come back until 5 am. Morning came &she came by. She was very rude &condescending. She started pointing out things we could’ve done

This was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. We were visiting relatives in the area. The location made visiting areas convenient, yet the privacy was wonderful. Our hosts were welcoming and we had everything we needed.

We loved the cabin! We have teen/adult children, it was nice that there was plenty of space for the 5 of us. The porch has a lovely view of the mountains and it was an easy drive to town without feeling the chaos of being in town. Margo was so sweet to dig out a hummingbird feeder when I asked if they get many hummers. The next morning the rufous and black-chinned were there sipping the sugar water! Thanks for the great hospitality.
