Staying with my family as we converged to the area for my daughter's wedding was priceless. BM is an amazing home with early 1900s charm. The main staircase creeks just like it should. The only thing more mysterious than the home itself, is pondering the conversations the walls have heard in their 130+ years. The home has many modern amenities, but retains much of it's century old charm.
Great place for a family get together
What a great space. We had a great time with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was incredible large with everything you could need to make large family meals. The location was very private and scenic. The house is so well decorated and very comfortable. We had a solid day of heavy rain and there was plenty of room for people to spread out and enjoy the time. This place is a gem. Hoping to go back again in the future.
My large extended family stayed at this beautiful old home over a long holiday weekend while attending a wedding. It’s very comfy for a large crowd with a well-equipped kitchen and large dining table. There are several comfortable sitting areas in the home and the furnishings are true to the era, so charming and homey. The location is relatively convenient and the grounds are lovely. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evening. David was very responsive and provided lots of recommendations for local restaurants and grocery stores, and information about the features and operation of the home. Overall it was a great experience!

I have been coming to the Catskills since a teenager, first as an attendee at Woodstock Music and Arts Festival (my mom urged be to go to chaperone my older brother), and later as a fly fishing enthusiast. Yes I have been making the trek to the Catskills from Long Island, NYC and Connecticut for most of my life. It is a wonderous part of the world to find something out about yourself that you may never have known until visiting. Whether you are not connected to nature, you will be connected, and if connected, you will be more deeply connected. Our home is also a serious place to connect with family and friends, and to the historic past of the area. Much of our house is as it was when built in 1890. Sitting around the fire pit at night will connect you with the present like few other places. Come and find out for yourself, find something new about yourself and leave with new adventures and experiences to last a lifetime. Dave
