What a perfect little gem! We were made to feel right at home. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We have 2 boys who loved saying hello to the lovely animals on site. An excellent location for exploring the local area. We will be back for another visit I am sure!

Fantastic location peace and privacy mixed with a feel and sounds of working farm. Maxine and Ant are so friendly and made us all feel at home especially our daughter who absolutely loved the Lodge and the farm and they were great to involve her She's loved walking Jenny the dog and being introduced to all the animals especially Murtle the horse! Thank you both so much for a fantastic stay we cant wait to come back. Views are great whether its glowing with sunshine or a rainstorm its nice to sit and just take it in whether inside or out. Great location for star gazing with a hot chocolate due to dark skies and no light pollution

This was an amazing family stay over the Christmas period. Calm and peaceful as we wanted this year ;) the place itself is situated in the amazing scenery of fields / Forest. within 5 miles away from it there are lots of great walks like ''Hack Fall'' also nearby you have Masham with lots of history and good food / drinks. In the end I would like to recommend Maxine for a great sense of hospitality and accommodating our needs perfectly. Thank you Damian

Maxine was a superb host and very attentive to every need. Even if you were with a 14ft trailer arriving at 11 p.m., Someone was there to greet us and show us where to park and how to get in. The lodge was beautiful and peaceful as you woke up to horses outside your bedroom window, to a lovely lodge that felt very homey. If only we could of stayed a lot longer we would of. The area has beautiful surroundings and local pubs. If you are ever in Yorkshire make sure to stop here, it is worth it I promise.
