This is such a beautiful location and the cabin is beautifully cared for. Karen went above and beyond to make sure that we were well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from the city and relax in solitude. We cannot wait to visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was beautiful and peaceful, private. The hot tub was clean and it is very lovely to enjoy under the stars at night. We saw elk and moose during our stay. Fairplay is a cute town and we had a nice meal in town. The weather wasn’t the best for hiking but many great trails nearby.

Incredibly relaxing, quiet atmosphere. The cabin has everything you would need to detach and disconnect feeling very remote while also being 20mins from Fairplay if you needed something extra. The cabin has tons of board games and puzzles and there are many hiking trails nearby. The hot tub is probably the cleanest I've experienced of any hot tub used by numerous people, didn't have that questionable feel/look at all. The stargazing was amazing and we even had multiple moose and coyote sightings. The communication with Karen was among the best and quickest I've experienced in a shared home. If you're wanting a relaxing weekend to unwind and disconnect while still having modern amenities at available, this is it.
