Nice villa in a very good location. This was our first stay in Holetown and we loved it. Beautiful beaches nearby, a shared pool you can use close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and want to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Christel's house in Holetown. The house is comfortable, welcoming and accommodating. The house is very bright and there is a steady breeze flowing. The house is well located as access to the pool, beach, restaurants and grocery store in within walking distance. The surrounding streets are also very pleasant to explore. The house manager was attentive, efficient and willing to answer our questions so that we could have a pleasant stay in Barbados. We recommend the rental of this house without hesitation and we wish to return very soon. Barbados is definitely a place to discover.

The location you cannot beat. We have been coming to Sunset Crest for over 30 years as it is always our spot. We chose this place based on the amazing reviews. My family owned a villa at Sunset years ago one street away so we already knew what the villas offered. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was acceptable. However we had numerous issues with the house itself. 1. Air conditioning in bedrooms did not work. One bedroom had no AC when we arrived and had to have Nicole arrive late in the evening to see it. The kids were starving and we had to get them dinner so Nicole returned at 915pm to try and put a temporary unit in the room. She then had to call a technician to come the next day. It was incredibly inconvenient for us traveling with 3 adults and 3 kids to fit AC repair into a busy itinerary. Even after the tech arrived the next day, the AC unit was then on full and lowest temp so then we froze and it still could not be adjusted. The new remote did not work. The other two rooms had AC water dripping over night on top of the beds. Also the one in the main bedroom suddenly became extremely loud with metal clanking on the 2nd morning at 5:30am. It sounded like a freight train was going to come through the wall! It woke all of us up! Note we only had AC on from 9pm-7am when we were in the bedrooms at night. 2. Kettle did not work 3. Towels and bedding had numerous stains on them that looked like rust (orange and black marks). Even after we rewashed the ‘clean towels and sheets’ from the linen closet these stains did not come out. 4. The bathrooms were not cleaned. There was hair on the sink counters and sand in the showers. 5. There was little to no water pressure. The bathroom sink trickled water. The showers had zero pressure and changed from warm to cold constantly. Imagine screaming kids with shampoo in their hair and no water pressure to rinse it. You get the picture. We have never had these issues at Sunset Crest in the past. Christel and Nicole were immediately responsive to our texts however their comments of “its the tropics” and “this isn’t the Taj Mahal” were not compassionate or concerned of the issues and the fact that this was ruining the enjoyment of our return to Barbados. Christel mentioned a few times that she was aware of water pressure issues so that should have been brought up in the profile. Note other villas did not have this issue. We spoke with other guests at the Beach Club who were staying in the same area and they did not have water pressure issues. We mutually decided that it was best for us to find a new Airbnb and Christel did allow us to stay an extra night so we could find something last minute which again was a day of unnecessary stress and incredibly costly for us paying a last minute premium. Had the above issues never occurred we would have definitely given higher ratings. Ensure you inquire about the above before you stay.

Great location. Good amount of space. Hard to fault at the price!
