This room is a perfect place to recover after a long day in NYC. It’s quiet and subway 1 runs all night, so it’s always easy to get home. Janine and Sheia are just wonderful human beings and I couldn’t imagine how my stay could habe been any better. I came alone from Germany without knowing anyone in New York and they always made me feel at home. And now I have family in New York that I can’t wait to visit soon again 😊❤️.

Janine told me at one point during my stay that her home is a special place where people come to find their mojo and then move on to a better life. I couldn't have described it better myself. The neighborhood has character and feels safe. Two supermarkets within less than a five-minute walk. The subway is even closer; straight line to Midtown and beyond. The house itself is beautiful, with high ceilings, open spaces, big rooms and vibrant colors. Ground floor, easy access. But what really makes this place special is Janine, her daughter and her extended family of friends. They are friendly and engaging in a genuine way, but also really discreet. In fact, the only bad thing about this is that eventually you'll have to leave...

Janine is a wonderful host. Soul touching, highly concerned and affectionate to the core. It was a remarkable and memorable long stay with Janine. I highly recommend her home for travellers who want a home far away from their homes. I wish Janine all the very best and great things to come her way.

Janine’s home is very warm, cozy and super stylish. Her little daughter Shiah and her are the best hosts, friendly and kind. I had a lot of freedom living with them and the location was quite convenient with the 1red line stopping right near the flat. I would 100% recommend their place and hope to come back myself.
