Udo is truly so kind and responsive! He is such a great host. The pool, the shower, the backyard is so amazing. The bungalow is so cute! Only thing to note was that there a few more bugs than we had expected & the air conditioning fan was leaking! absolutely loved this place and would definitely come back! :) Thanks for everything Udo!

Great location, impeccably clean, Udo has a good sense of what to recommend and the property is gorgeous. I did not read that there is no A/C. It is listed but this has to be one of the hottest & most humid climates I have been in. I lived in Georgia, Florida and now Texas, so I understand heat & humidity. No A/C in 80-90F and 95% humidity is challenging. I would sleep most of the night without any sheets/blankets until after 3am. There is a swamp cooler but this technology is intended for dry climates like deserts. Instructions are to use refrigerated water and freezer packs in the swamp cooler when his rationale for no A/C is to get away from freon which seems silly when you rely on freon to cool the water & ice packs? Well, be ready for HOT nights and days. Felt like glamping. Took about 15 minutes to gain entrance that first time. Not a huge deal but it was a wait to get into the property that first time. Construction continues next door sunrise to sunset.

The Orange House was a beautiful, vibrant, luscious dream come true! We loved walking the grounds, lounging in the hammock, enjoying the pool, and listening to toucans and many other birds (we found the best bird watching was from the pool 🙂) Udo and Vivi were amazing hosts that put such thought into the house & property. They were very communicative and helpful and even greeted us with smoothies! 10000% recommend this stay to anyone visiting Uvita. The property feels very safe with a gate and alarm system. It is located very close to restaurants, the beach, stores, etc. We had so much fun and hopefully will be back again!!

A piece of paradise. Amazing stay at Udo's place. He built there a peaceful and cosy bungalow in this beautiful region. We recommend 200% the person and the place !

A fantastic place to relax and switch off. The accommodation was very clean and cosy, we also appreciated the ecological care (water filter, recycling) and the bathroom under the open sky. The best thing is the location in the middle of the nature, we woke up every morning by the chanting of birds and insects, and saw colibris, toucans and other animals from the terrasse. We recommand wholeheartedly.
