Great place for families - have stayed here 2x (once in summer with our extended family & once in winter for a long weekend to ski with 3 families).
We had a terrific time at Mimi's. Our group included grandparents, parents and 5 teenagers all of whom had a lovely time. The house is as described. The kitchen is large with all the appliances and and accompaniments that one could need. The bedrooms were of good size and the bunk beds for the grandchildren segregated by gender was just what we needed. The children spent their free time in the playroom with pool, table tennis and foozeball and each night we watched a movie in the large entertainment room with the projector TV. There are large outdoor and screened in porches for relaxation. Mimi and Connie were very responsive when we had a minor issue that was easily resolved. All-in-all a lovely get away for the family made better and easier by Mimi's lovely home.
The house is beautiful and well set up. We had a group of nine and everyone had ample space, both to gather and to chill. Adults loved the screened sunroom for reading and napping. The swimming pond was a big hit; the floating island was great fun and the water was refreshing. Really loved that the kitchen had everything we needed - plenty of plates and silverware, serving dishes and cookware, sharp kitchen knives, and two dishwashers. Beds were all comfortable and the rooms were spacious. We had a great time and would love to return!
We had a wonderful stay at Mimi’s house. It is a beautiful house and great location. We skied at catamount and jiminy peak and had a wonderful time. Mimi is a great host and easy to communicate with.
Wonderful getaway for our family get-together across 3 generations. The first floor bedroom was perfect for my older in-laws and the swimming pond, media room & ping pong table provided much entertainment for my niece & nephew. We had a chef come and cook a feast for our family in the huge kitchen too. A lovely vacation!

My husband and I have 4 children and live outside of NYC. We work hard and enjoy spending time together as a family and with friends. We enjoy making our guests feel welcomed and special. Having little time to relax, we built our home as an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It allows us to relax and enjoy our family without any schedules to keep or people to see. However, with the daily demands of life, we have not been able to use our home as often as we like so have decided to share this special place with others.
