Great house, great location. We had a blast

We spent a week at the house and loved it. We had never heard of Copake Lake -- we stumbled across this listing while looking for a home to rent in the Berkshires. We were very pleased that we picked this house. We would love to go back again and would recommend it to others. The location and setting on the lake were perfect, with beautiful views from the deck and the dock by the water. We made good use of the kayaks, SUPs, and canoe every day. We also rented a pontoon boat from Austin one day, which was fun. Austin is a very responsive host, both during the rental process and during our stay. The house is well stocked, with plenty of beach towels and more, and the beds are comfortable. We are a family of six -- three couples (parents and adult children). It was very comfortable for us, with plenty of space to spread out, and the house's size and set up accommodated everyone's different sleeping schedules. We also enjoyed eating at the Greens restaurant at the country club (two minute walk) and exploring and eating in Hudson.

Our family of 10 had a great weekend at the house. It was the perfect relaxing getaway with everything we needed. The house had everything you could think of to accommodate the stay. Austin was there to answer any questions we had prior, and throughout our stay. We hope to come back again!

Beautiful home on large lakefront plot. Listing is accurate. We had ample space for our party of 10. We loved the open floor plan in the living area and the nook off the dining room. A/C and wifi worked well, and we had all the amenities we needed. We rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed the lake, including fishing from the dock. We walked to dinner at the nearby restaurant twice (get reservations!). Not too much happening in the surrounding area, but didn't need much else than a beautiful lake and a hammock! We'd stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Austin’s place. Our group of 10 (6 adults and 4 children) spent a week at the house. The space was perfect for our family, with plenty of room to spread out. Very well-equipped kitchen for those planning to cook. The lake was another highlight. We enjoyed using the kayaks, paddleboards and canoe provided by Austin on the lake. The water temperature was very comfortable in mid-July. In addition, Austin was one of the best hosts we have had. Very responsive and easy to work before and during our stay. Look forward to hopefully visiting again!
