What a stunning location for a wonderful Easter weekend. We loved our stay and being so close to Rutter Fall waterfall was amazing! We enjoyed dipping in the pool at the waterfall as we’re avid wild swimmers 🥶 A great base for exploring and I’m sure we’ll be back!
Such a lovely quaint cottage. Beautifully clean . And a lovely touch with flowers on the table .Homemade bread & jam welcome pack ...The wildlife is wonderful and the waterfall just outside the door is enchanting. Great hosts answered anything we needed .We will be back Thanks Jane & Jim
Our stay at the Rutter Falls Holiday cottages was one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. The cottage is located in very scenic surroundings with a great view of the waterfall and the mill. The setup is wonderful a very quiet place and a cosy owl room to relax. The place is a few minutes drive away from Appleby town where you can find shops for food, breakfasts and essentials. The best part is that the place is off the cell network grid(there is wifi in the house if needed), which allows you to spend time with family rather than being on phones/tabs :). Jane and Jim are wonderful hosts and very warm people, ensuring everything is in place for you to enjoy your stay at the cottage.
This is a wonderful place and the owners are very thoughtful and welcoming. It is such a magical scenic setting. Can totally understand why people rebook.
The cottage is in a beautiful location. It is warm , comfortable and nicely furnished. The beds are super comfy and there are lovely walks from the door. The hosts respond quickly and offer exceptional hospitality. We will be back !
