We had a wonderful weekend at Carol’s! The place was clean & accurate to photo’s. Plenty of room & was cozy by fireplaces, with plenty of blankets to layer at night for bed. The area is nice & some great places to get some breakfast before heading to Acadia Park. I felt the drive from the property went fast to park & Bar Harbor. If you like star gazing, this was definitely the right place :)

Beautiful cozy and rustic barn, well-equipped and private. Comfortable bed and great shower; lots of charm in decoration. Nice setting in field though I expected to be on the water and it does require a walk ie no direct water view (for photographers, beach has nice sunset view, not sunrise). Overall a lovely and peaceful place to stay!

UNSAFE FOR ALL PEOPLE BUT ESPECIALLY CHILDREN AND SENIORS! I HOPE they allow me to attach PICTURES! This is not RUSTIC it is NOT FINISHED! None of the ceilings and most interior walls were NOT finished. NO insulation. *ALL* of the electric wires, water lines, plumbing pipes and gas lines were exposed in the unfinished walls. The end of one electric line in the kitchen ceiling was not attached to anything. Some of the electric receptacles/outlets did not have covers. They had one smoke detector, 2 smoke detector brackets without the smoke detector and 0 carbon monoxide detectors. The stairs were very steep. The bedroom with the two beds had a window on the hall walkway that anyone walking by could look in, privacy problem. If I could I would give this place a (-5) STARS. Our reservation was for 2 nights but we only stayed *one* because this was the absolute worst and most unsafe place I have ever stayed in. For $450.00 per night I expected at the least to have interior walls!

Great place to stay! Quiet, cute, and cozy. The perfect place to come back to and watch movies and relax after a long day of hiking.

It is a very good location for visiting Acadia and the other villages in the area. Taking walks from The Farm was delightful. We especially enjoyed the fresh eggs for breakfast and watching the chickens enjoying their stay.
