The cottage is beautifully appointed, well equipped and perfectly located overlooking the nearby valley and farm lands. It is an utterly peaceful and idyllic retreat for anyone wishing to spend some 'quiet time' away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to all local amenties. We were even lucky enough to witness the rare event of the Northern Lights, mainly due to the near zero light pollution of the area. A beautiful place and one I'm sure we will return to. My husband and I stayed for a long weekend to catch up with family who were staying locally - if only it could have been longer - I can honestly say I’ve never felt so at home in a place that wasn’t actually my home! Sally and Paul have thought of absolutely everything you could possibly need to make for an extremely comfortable stay, and were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cottage is well situated for exploring the local area, and the view from the cottage itself is breathtaking. The perfect place for a restorative getaway. Thank you Sally and Paul!

We had a wonderful time at Sally and Paul's AirBnB! They were very kind and communicative prior to, and during our stay! The cottage and grounds were very peaceful, with lovely views of the open fields during the day, and the stars at night. As other guests have mentioned, it was a bit tricky to find, but didn't take too long. There are several enjoyable small towns a short drive away, as well as some nice walking paths. We would definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay in this gorgeous home for the weekend. The views are superb from the large windows at the back of the house, surrounded by countryside. The amenities were perfect and the house super spacious for a group of 5. The recommendations were very helpful and even with the rainy weather as expected in February, we went for a lovely walk around the local reservoir. The movie collection in the house was a surprise bonus for us. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed and more. Thank you for our stay.
