My kids and I had a wonderful week at Jesse’s cottage! Great location and beautiful views. Everything was exactly as described and beyond. We will definitely be back :)

I stayed at Jesse's place for a week with my wife and our three year old son. Here's what we found! THE GOOD: Literally steps to the water. Great dock and deck for sitting and eating. Beautiful views. Overall peaceful and quiet. well equipped kitchen. Nicely renovated bathroom with hot water. Open, comfy, cozy living space. Great communication from the host and checked in with us to make sure everything was satisfactory. The downside: Preparing for the trip felt more like camping due to the amount of living essentials we had to bring. (IE paper towel, drinking water, propane, hand towels, linens, pillows, comforters...) There was little area between the deck and the water....which would be great for adults, but having a toddler we didn't have a good space for activities. (However, we did find a nice park a short drive away.) The property was not nearly as private as we thought it would be, however the neighbouring cottages and their attendees were very quiet. overall, great!

Amazing location directly on the water. Beautiful pristine waters on Ahmic lake. Cottage had ample space inside with a nice new deck and spacious dock where we spent most of our time. Secluded and private from the other cottages and resort area. Having access to their 2 person kayak and paddle boat was a great addition. Jessie was very helpful and communicative. Definitely worth a trip back.

Amazing location and view of the lake! The landscape was a bit treacherous for our 2 kids under 4. They needed a lot of assistance getting around from the cottage to the dock. Our 6 yr old was a lot more independent! Private enough, but surrounding cottages are really close (we were lucky that most of the time no one else was around!). The area is super quiet, other cottages and resort were respectful and welcoming. Cottage is small but rather cozy. The bathroom and kitchen were clean but the bedrooms were unswept and dusty. All the beds had items underneath so it was hard to put away our suitcases so we had some room to move around. For the price, I would have really appreciated clean rooms and all linens included, would of made a world of difference for us (travelling with 4 kids and 4 adults). Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the area very much!
