A perfect place for 2 or 4 people to come relax and unwind at, with an amazing waterfront and lakeside hot tub. Approximately 3 hours north of Toronto and 45 minutes north of Huntsville. The waterfront has a beach area with a gradual entry and a sandy bottom, and water deep enough, to jump off the end of the dock. Enjoy the lake views from the seating area at the end of the dock or sit in the shade of the umbrella on the dock pad. Bring your own boat and enjoy some fishing. Our lakeside cottage overlooks a bay on the west side of Whalley Lake. Enjoy great views from the open kitchen, living and dining areas. A good size bedroom allows for a view of the lake as well. Enjoy your morning coffee from the balcony at the front of the cottage or make your way down to the dock and relish in the morning tranquillity of the lake. **7 day minimum booking only**

Christina hosted us for our anniversary and it was a blast! She was very kind and welcoming to my partner and I as well as our dogs:) Even took the time to come down and show us quickly how to light the wood stove and use the hot tub to make things easier. Kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and the place has a beautiful charm - my boyfriend who doesn’t like to travel is considering making this an annual trip for us:) Thanks Christina!

Take a trip and visit the historical village of Magnetawan just 5km away. There you will find the Historical Museum and the hand operated dam and locks located on the Magnetawan River. Our little village also offers a hardware store, the Magnetawan Grill and Grocery, Algonquin Fine Foods, Aurora Pizza, an ice cream/hamburger shack and the LCBO. Be sure to check out the Farmer's Market on Saturdays, located at the Lion's Club Arena. It's definitely worth the trip.
Just 2km from the cottage is the Magnetawan Bait and Tackle where you will find just about anything you may need.

Whalley Lake Road West is a private road and the speed limit is 20km. Please mind your speed as there are people out walking with their children and dogs.
There is a large open parking area and parking up near the cottage as well.
