We had a beautiful welcoming from them. They was reactives from our text and questions. They are friendly and understanding persons. The cottage are really cute with a breathtaking landscape. I'm looking forward to be back during the summer.

My wife and I have traveled the world for the past 20 years and have stayed in many places and crossed hundreds of thousands of miles by land sea and air. We booked a 3 day outing on the Georgian Bay at Katawoda. The cost was around $1,400 which included a $200 cleaning fee. When we got there we discovered there was no toilet paper, no hand soap, no dish soap and no garbage bags. The cabin was about 50 years old and about 400 sq ft and didn’t have any ventilation systems. However it also didn’t even have a window air conditioner. There weather was warm and the heat was trapped in the building at night and we endured near 100 degree temperatures. There was a ceiling fan in the kitchens that did little to move air and there was portable fan to be moved around. Apparently their septic system was capable of taking bathroom waste and kitchen waste that went down the sink but it was incapable of taking toilet paper that is biodegradable. We were presented with many signs instructing to deposit all toilet paper in a small garbage bin for which we had to supply the plastic bag. By the second day the bathroom smelled like a construction site Porto potty. I think it was a way for management to avoid pumping the septic tanks for 10-15 years as I’ve never come across a septic tank that does not accept toilet paper. For some unknown reason book out times ranged from 9-11am even though book in times were 5 pm. We finished packing on the last day and sat down to finish our breakfast when we got a rap on the door at 9:12 am and we’re informed we are past the book out time and we needed to leave. My wife and agreed that we have never encountered such poor hospitality and service as at this lodge. For the lofty sum of $1,400 we could have received the basics of toilet paper and cleaning agents as well as been afforded a portable air conditioner. We didn’t appreciate the humiliation of being told to get out 12 minutes after check out time. The management needs to take a few college courses about hospitality services as this is clearing missing at this lodging facility.

This cottage was so cute! Helen was great and helped with all my questions. it is right on a sandy, beautiful beach and has it's own fire pit. Super pet friendly, my pup enjoyed running and splashing in the water. Will definitely book again!
