We really enjoyed visiting this area and the apartment is a very unique space with tuscan-style vibes! We both work remotely and the wifi was ok but not super fast. Still, it worked for streaming and Zoom calls. The grounds were very nice with lots of late summer flowers blooming and Charles and Beth were very accommodating when the temperature took a plunge unexpectedly and brought us some space heaters. There is a really nice, though small, park just a short walking distance and our dog just loved it. The market in town was great for grocery needs so we rarely had to venture to a formal grocery store which was also great. The apartment is very quiet and we were delighted that we didn’t need to use our sound machine! Would definitely visit again!

Charles and Beth's property is just an absolute oasis for the mind, body and soul and was a wonderful place to spend the summer for my dog Peak and I, while I worked at the Gliimmerglass Festival. The apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay and the super cool concrete floors kept the temperature reasonable even through the hottest parts of the summer. Cool and eclectic, this apartment and the surrounding grounds are great for artists and normies alike and is so close to wonderful hikes and to downtown Cherry Valley... just a short drive to Glimmerglass, Lake Otsego, Cooperstown and everything else that the area has to offer. Any needs that I had while I was there were immediately taken care of by this lovely couple. If I ever return to the Glimmerglass Festival I will be staying here again.
