The cottage is in a beautiful area, it's not right across from the beach but it is no more than a 2-minute walk away. The private shared beach was amazing, it's a bit steep but nice and sandy than rocky which prevents the weeds from growing. The locals were all very friendly and we had great conversations with them. There was never more than 1 other couple at the beach so it was not busy. It's a quiet area and very relaxing. We brought our Kayaks and hade a nice sunset kayak around the river. I wish we would have had more time as I heard from the locals it's relaxing to head up to the rapids and sit in them. The water is very shallow there and we did see people sitting in them when we arrived. This cottage needs a few more refinements but you can already see the improvements that Jacob has made. There was only one window that needs a curtain the main ones had room darkening shades. There are no doors in the cottage but honestly, It's a cottage, I don't think it needs doors. The washroom does have a sliding "door" for privacy which you can see in the photo. There was a slight odour on the wood flooring side of the house however I believe that was due to the refinishing of the floors and should go away. The photos are a great representation of the cottage, it's exactly what I expected based on the photos.

It's OK, but more rustic than the pictures let on. There is a strong musty smell, even if you leave the windows open, there are no doors on the bedrooms, and bring something to use as a window curtain.
