Casa Almendra was beautiful. It was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. We traveled with another family and there was plenty of space for the 8 of us. The house was well equipped and stocked with bath and beach towels. They also have plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. It is a very short walk to the beach, but since the home is at the back of the Playacar neighborhood, it is a loger walk to the shops and restaurants (however there are plenty of cabs available). We had ample hot water and wifi on both floors. The backyard is beautiful and private with plenty of room to sit (chairs and umbrellas). The pool is a little small, but our kids loved it (ages 3-6). The second floor balcony is huge and the adults loved hanging out there when the kids went to sleep. We would visit again in a heartbeat. Playa Del Carmen is truly amazing and this house made us feel right at home. The host also offers daily house cleaning and is was very responsive and proactive. Great trip!

We had a great stay at this house with our family of 10 including 3 young children under the age of 5. Very close to the beach, literally only a two minute walk. Walking distance from 5th Ave. Beautiful and quiet area with lots of greenery and a very responsive and accommodating host! We would definitely stay here again if we would come back to PDC.

We loved our stay at casa almendra! The place was beautiful and had more than enough bathrooms and rooms for our group! Our host was extremely responsive and helped us set up transportation and from airport for our entire group of 8 along with a chef that came and cooked our meals! Highly recommend

The location is hard to beat. Right by the beach and somewhat walkable to downtown (definitely bikable). The house was clean and the host is responsive. There were some issues with the build quality of the house. The pilot light for one of the hot water heaters keep going out but this was fixed during our stay. The electrical didn’t seem up to code. We received a shock when trying to plug in a charger in the dining room and touching the fridge handle caused a mild buzz. It was a bit difficult to find the house the first time because G Maps assumes phase 1 and phase 2 of Playacar is connected but it is not. The house is in phase 1. Overall we had a great time.

Todo perfecto ! Me encanta Playacar y la casa es una de las mejores ubicadas ! Lo mejor fue la atención del anfitrión que en todo momento estuvo al tanto de lo que necesitamos . Volveremos sin dudas.
