Hilda’s beach house was spotless, lovely, well equipped and right by the beach. There were lots of books, toys, sand toys, kites and even sleds to slide down the sand dunes. Our granddaughters had so much fun and we did too! Hope to return next year for another lovely stay!!

At first thought, this was expensive for us, because our daughter and her kids were going to join us. They ended up all sick, so it was just the two of us. I would do it all over again,, even just for the two of us, but would stay longer! It was absolutely magical. Peaceful, beautiful house that was spotless. Way more amenities than we could use, including a kite, crab traps (we in Wyoming do not understand such things, but they were available), lots of bicycles, an incredible library, and literally everything else one could imagine for both inside and outside entertainment. And it was at most 150 yards from the beach and the spectacular Oregon shore. It was, at the end of the day, worth every penny, and we hope to come back.

We’ve been visiting this area for years and this house has been the nicest place we’ve stayed in a long time. Seems like others sort of let their place fall apart as the wear and tear adds up, but this house was clean, well-kept, and stocked with basics, including condiments, spices and even baking powder (which I actually needed because I forgot to bring some for a certain recipe). The only negative is that the house right next door is being renovated so I think that’s why there was quite a bit of foot traffic passing in the back of the house…this even though the weather was terrible so I’m guessing it would be even more on nicer days. So the privacy wasn’t ideal, but I’m guessing it’s a temporary issue and it also wasn’t the end of the world. Great place to stay and would definitely recommend.
