Corbridge is a beautiful village, nestled within the Tyne Valley and on the River Tyne.
It has huge Roman historical significance and there is an excavated Roman town & museum for you to visit just round the corner.
You’ll love the fantastic variety of restaurants and traditional country pubs the village has to offer, with everything just a short stroll away.
The shops in the village are excellent, with a variety of artisanal food, gift, unique clothes, jewellery, shoes, antique and homeware shops.
Beauty and hair salons and a yoga studio are also here for pampering or for getting ready for that special occasion.
A couple of small supermarkets, a florist, a vegetable and butchers shop are also in the village.
The larger town of Hexham is only a 5 minute drive away and the city of Newcastle is easily accessed by the train service which takes around 40mins.

You’ll be able to park on our drive and walk into the centre of the village. The nearest pub / restaurant is a 2 minute stroll away and it’s only a 5 minute walk into the very centre.
(Parking in the very centre is payable).
There are good public transport links -
By train and bus to Hexham and Carlisle to the West and Newcastle to the East.
A special Hadrians Wall hop on/hop off bus, from Hexham, allows you to visit several Roman sites along Hadrians Walk in a day.
