Really nice inside, and very welcoming with a nice selection of wine and food to greet us. Everything needed was to hand and easy to find. There was lots of helpful information on the locality and we went on a walk , nearly from the front door, almost as soon as we arrived.

Karen’s place was perfectly located for a long weekend in the New Forest. The place was exactly as described and the pictures do not do it justice! Karen was a great host and always responded quickly to any messages/queries we had. We would definitely recommend and will be back!

The unit was very cozy and private for us! It is a great location to visit the New Forest; about 45 min from Stonehenge; 35 minutes from Southampton; 35 min from Beaulieu National Car Museum/grounds (a MUST see! so much history & beautiful Abbey, house and gardens). Karen and Sue were so sweet to provide a bottle of wine; milk; little jams & a yummy loaf of bread. The Old Beams Inn is a typical English pub & has good fish & chips. (Nice beer selection too!) The hosts also assisted us with our rental car-thank you, thank you, thank you! As other reviews have said, there is some noise from the road during daylight hours, but not much at night. We slept very well. You can definitely use this place for a quick/safe getaway. We would definitely visit again if in the area. Thank you for sharing your space with us.

Very nice place, very clean, very classy. We had a bit of bad luck in that there were a lot of flying insects in the area when we went, but obviously this was out of Karen’s control. A larger frying pan would have made cooking easier. Very happy with the stay.

We had a lovely few nights here, weather was much better than expected as well. The place was beautiful and everything was perfect, amazing how quite it was once inside the accommodation, as others mentioned you can hear /feel some of the larger lorrys go past but it never bothered us . Great places to eat around and visit, we definitely want to try and come back for another weekend. Thank you for everything, claire and mel
