Great location for what I needed! Canals, walks, local pubs & shops all close by. Hot tub was a great addition and the Christmas tree and fire created a cosy welcome. Very responsive hosts ! Great location for local links
Lynn was very welcoming and showed me around the cottage. I was also provided with fresh flowers and a few refreshments including Welsh cakes! I was staying at the property because my friend was getting married at the nearby St Mary's Church and at Iscoyd Park. The sofa bed was perfect for allowing another friend to stay with me beforehand!
Brilliant stay for a week. Host was superb and a great location. Very homely feel and private. Host was more than accompanying. Highly recommend a stay. So good I’ve booked again!
Thank you Lyn for a wonderful stay. Three of us were staying at the Retreat for a wedding at Iscoyd Park, which was only a 5 minute drive away. If you are attending a wedding I would recommend breaking the taxis a long time in advance to get the best deal as our taxis were quite expensive because they had come from Wrexham. The Retreat itself was lovely and warm and Lyn and Chris had provided milk, hot cross buns, butter and tea and coffee which was very welcome. We had a lovely welcome from Lyn as well what do you think about. She managed to flag me down on the road as I was lost. I would recommend the instructions for finding it, to use what3words just to make it slightly easier. Otherwise everything was great, and was perfect for what we were looking for. Thank you
