Andrea is a great friendly host. She respond very quickly and helpful. The rooms are really nice, very cosy and the bathroom is spotless clean. The breakfast is also great with local product, love the blackcurrant jam. The fresh mint just brings a little extra to the tea, simply love it! Hot water supply for shower is really great, even though we are in a group of 4. The house looks really nice and tidy. Highly recommend to stay in here as the house is centrally located in Peak District and easy to travel to many interesting spots.

There's nothing to fault with this place. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and spacious. The downstairs lounge area for guest's sole use was a real bonus. It's in a gorgeous spot in the picturesque village of Tideswell, which is a real gem, and was easy to walk from the door to all local amenities. Also some wonderful walks from the door which Andrea had printed out maps for and laminated. Andrea and Rob were the perfect hosts. Thoroughly recommend!

We had the most welcoming and wonderful stay. The house and gardens are beautiful, and the perfect location for a stroll to the pub and a view over the town. Andrea and Toms local knowledge was exceptional. Treat yourself and stay at Alma House.

Andrea and Rob were super friendly, great hosts! They were very accommodating to our needs, with smooth checking in and out. We were a group of climbers staying over the long bank holiday weekend, so location was perfect. The rooms were very clean, and the living room space was great to hang out in after long days out. Breakfast, coffees, teas and biscuits were also great additions! Would gladly stay again.
