Geoffrey’s place is in a fantastic location to explore all that Broulee has to offer. It was especially great for families of kids who surf, as there is lots of options depending on the waves all within a few km’s and directly across from the house. The house itself had everything for a relaxing family holiday, and had a large dining area for meals, large couch and multiple sitting areas to access to read etc. Highly recommended and Geoffrey was a great host with prompt communication and information for us as we needed it.

Great location, nice furniture. The cleaning cannot be called enhanced cleaning, on arrival I could see well over 20 different hairs on the bathroom floor. A lot of insects in the carpets, the kids bedroom did smell like mould. I didn’t want the drama of starting my trip with complaining. The kids bedroom also doesn’t have sufficient lock if you want to lock the door to your kids. I was told to keep the door open , “it’s a safe area.” In my book an area are not safer than the stranger passing through town. It feels like the owner is living in the house (a lot of personal effects left behind) If this place got a profesional cleaning company it could be good. Great location. Also, the washing machine is shared with downstairs, I believe this wasn’t mentioned in the listing.
