We had a long drive with a new baby so we left early and thought we would have a beach day if the house was still occupied ( we got the lockbox code the night before arriving ) We arrived before it was cleaned but that was our fault for arriving early so they rushed the clean so don’t have much to comment on as far as that - definitely needs some decluttering and cupboards and drawers need a good wipe out Air con didn’t work - kept coming up with an error code Fridge was set so low all of our freezer and fridge food went off had to do two grocery shops which we are really not happy with. Vacuum and mop broken Dryer broken We paid over $6500 for 1 week over Christmas and it definitely wasn’t worth this for all the amenities promised but were broken.. House is large and great for big extended families or multiple families. Pool was great!! Communication easy I think if it stayed dryer and air con it needs to be in working order - overall pretty disappointing considering price

Very good place, great for families as there's plenty of space and a pool for the warm days. No WiFi but other than that everything is great and its a nice private spot.. recommended 🙂

This home was just beautiful, it was immaculately clean and very well set out. The kids loved the games room and pools. Situated in a peaceful, quiet neighbourhood and within walking distance to two cafes and the Broulee Brewhouse which was absolutely lovely and great value for a family lunch. Easy access to family friendly swimming places and other things like Saturday markets , the Botanical gardens, mogo zoo, plenty of supermarkets and the Tomakin Sports Club is just up the road. It was nice to be able to do a load of washing and cook a family meal, this house had everything we needed. Kate was a wonderful hostess, always available, and the owners of this home have thought of everything and obviously put a lot of effort into its presentation. Thank you for a beautiful stay , we would happily stay here again and recommend it hands down.

The house is nice and also spacious but a little dated, plenty of room for the large family get away. The only stuff we had to supply was linen, towels and bathmats. The pool was nice and clean but not heated, neither was the attached spa but was grea if you wanted that quick cool off or to sit in the sun with you feet in the water. The kitchen area is great plenty of room to cook in, we used the oven and dishwasher with no issues. Some of the handles on the cupboards were loose, some with some of the towel rails. All in all it made for a great weekend and we had a wonderful time away.

The property didn't really live up to expectations, and there are definitely areas for improvement. I booked the accommodation for my mother's 70th birthday, the whole family traveled about 5hrs (from both directions) to Mossy Point to celebrate with her and I honestly thought the house was overpriced for what it was. I paid just over 3K for 4 nights with cleaning included. This puts the listing in the luxury tier, and for that price-point I would expect it to be relatively modern. The house on Sunrise Rd hasn't been renovated in several decades and wear-n-tear was obvious on all the finishings: doors jammed or didn't shut properly, the veranda had patches of rust, the furniture was really old and the appliances were outdated - or didn't work at all. This was pretty evident in the laundry; the washing machine was at least 30 years old, the vacuum cleaner was broken and the dryer somehow made towels wetter. In the 'gourmet kitchen' the dishwasher (which I understand was repaired the day we arrived) took about 6 hours to finish a cycle and all the crockery and cutlery was old or broken - not really what you'd expect for $3000. The photography on the listing was also misleading - as was the title. There were 4 bedrooms, but we didn't have access to the whole house. There was an entire apartment downstairs that was locked. The only downstairs bedroom that we had access to was moldy and damp. There was no linen.... or towels - for 3K I would expect at least bathmats. Finally not having wifi or phone reception was really inconvenient. This was clearly stated in the ad, but with all the aforementioned shortcomings, it just made the place feel less like a holiday home - and more like an empty house with no internet.
