The house, the location - amazing! The cleanliness and internal fittings and furniture were even better than the photos made it look. The riverside setting is to die for. We all want to come back and stay next year - and the year after! The local IGA is only a 200 meter walk from the house - yet essentially unseen from the property - we rarely had to plan ahead for meals! We used the provided kayaks - the river is quite protected, so perfect most days for kayak and for SUPs. (A highlight was SUPing down the river to Mossy Point - safe and enjoyable!) Massive yard too - we played cricket and volleyball. Tomakin has indeed wondrous beaches - setting up at Tomakin Cove was a favorite - access to both gentle surf for boogie boards, and protected Cove for SUP and snorkeling. Thankyou JL!!

It was a perfect location to getaway with some of my clients for a fishing trip. Plenty of space in the property which was clean and comfortable. Will definitely look at the property again in the future. Thank you!

It's a large house that can easily accommodate 10 or more people. It is located in a picturesque setting with a huge and well-maintained garden adjacent to a beautiful river lake. The house had everything needed for an enjoyable holiday, all bedrooms were comfortably furnished, and the main kitchen was satisfyingly equipped (there was another kitchen upstairs, but we didn't use it). The bathrooms were bright and clean. Nothing to complain about. We stayed at the house during the week (Monday to Thursday), perhaps that was why nobody was there, it was so quiet. We really enjoyed the peaceful scenery while trying to catch some fish directly from the balcony. We didn't catch anything...perhaps this is the only disappointment we experienced. Any points of concern? Yes, the staircase is outside, one needs to the outside to go upstairs. One night it was raining heavily and we got wet attempting to go up. This house suits families/groups with children. A lot of fun activities.
