Our house is in upper dharamkot behind Alt life cafe. Its a 15 mins walk from vipasana and Tushita meditation centre. Dharamkot is a village in dharamshala district located at the foothills of the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas. Besides McLeodganj and Buddhist Monasteries, there are many more attractions around. We are 50 mins from the airport. Our spot is ideal for work from home workers, book lovers, musicians and couples. We have a fiber optic internet connection with 100 mbps speed. House is right in the centre of the village and has no immediate neighbours. This is a self catered studio apartment. It has a working table with two chairs, an open cabinet, Floor length mirror, beds & side tables, couch, coffee table, Lazy chair, chairs in the balcony as part of the offerings. There is a functional kitchen to cook meals. We have fiber optic internet which also has a power backup. All the cafes are walking distance and most of them deliver food. There's a family close by who delivers home cooked affordable meals. Car parking is a five minutes walk from the house We also provide pick up and drop to the airport, which is about 1000 INR We could also suggest you few activities closeby such as charcoal sketching, pottery, singing classes Guest manual .............................. This is not a hotel, rather a self catered homestay in a village.This classy room is ideally suited for guests who've travelled extensively via Airbnb and know what a self catered stay looks and feels like. You could ask for cleaning in 4 days and we will make it happen. Dishes is diy. Upper dharamkot is a serene place where monks are meditating most of there time. If you are looking to party with alcohal and play loud music , than this is not for you. Please don't play music or make any sort of noise after 9 pm. ✨ We request you to place the shoes in the balcony since the whole room is lined with carpets. It accommodates upto 4 persons. There is an extra charge after two adults. Children after 12 are chargeable. We are pet friendly. There is a free parking on the street if you are able to find the spot, otherwise there is a paid parking plot 5 mins from the house If you are coming with a pet, please message and discuss the formalities before booking.

Beautiful little hideaway, yet only footsteps away from nice eateries and cafes. On top a bed heater for those chill hill nights :) We local loved the animals visiting us and the garden each day. And home cooked meals just to the doorstep. Would highly recommend for digital nomads (some more power outlets would be a plus :) and couples on holidays. Both for short and longterm stay suitable. Host is amazing and very proactive as well. :)
The place is located in a beautiful and quiet surrounding. The room was big enough to easily accommodate 4 people. The bed was comfortable and they even had electric warmer in the beds. Tara was really lovely, she was very very proactive and communicative. She was refreshingly positive in her chat, had a wonderful conversation with her through and through. God bless.
A peaceful spot to pick your own journey. Tara has some of the best views from her Airbnbs and I moved from this one (upper Dharmkot) to her other property in upper Bhagsur. Waking up to the view of the valley along with the suns rays giving you the energy to move around these hills as you go through your day. Mr. Rajesh is the caretaker of these properties and will help you feel right at home (home-cooked food, suggestions and getting your trips organized). Stayed up at Triund with the local guide Ravi who has all the knowledge and gear to help you explore the lower Himalayas (Dhauladhar range) and beyond if your appetite seeks. Sanath runs the only dosa shop called Mowgli cafe and his food & life story are delicious/inspirational. Birdhouse Cakery run by Rana, Hukku makes amazing coffee, desserts and food. Lower Dharmkot has a couple of nice cafes that have a chill vibe. The Airbnb itself has a very welcoming, sweet and homely feel. Will be back to stay here & explore more! Peace :)
