This was our second stay, and we really love this spot normally, but this time we were without any hot water for four days and communication during that time wasn’t ideal. We would still book again but be aware there may be some issues. We are working with the owners to possibly get a partial refund. Other than the water and unreliable internet issues we do love staying there and the view is stunning.

The location was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to hear the waves crashing onto the rocks all night long and we got that. We chose NOT to use the air conditioning the entire time that we were there. We left the sliding door and windows open so that we could hear the sounds of the waves. We used a small fan in the living room and another one in the bedroom and it was adequate (and I HATE heat) so that's saying something. Breakfast on our balcony was the highlight of every day. Most of our dinners were out there, as well. Perfect sunset views from several places around the complex. Parking was covered and assigned. The price was higher than we would typically pay, but it IS Hawaii, afterall. We would consider this location again, should we return to the island.

The view was worth every penny we paid itself The pictures are a accurate representation The bed was comfortable and they provided an abundance of extra blankets/pillows We did not use the pull out bed The kitchen was well stocked with what you need to get started The location was prime A very short walk to a number of popular restaurants/bars shops farmers market what felt like the center of town A lot to do no matter the time of day Also larger grocery stores restaurants harbors and airport all short drives Truly the best place to stay for the price/location right on the water! Previous reviews say the AC was a problem but we did not have any issues The AC worked great For the criticism the unit/building is older and it shows we found some unwanted roaches one day the water was turned off and another the power Told ahead of time for the water but not the power some of the provided equipment needs to be replaced laundry available outside of unit and was not convenient to use on trip

We really enjoyed staying at Casago Kona. It was a perfect location, and the view was spectacular. We saw whales, turtles, surfers all from our balcony. Having a pool and a grill was an important factor to us, as we have a toddler, and staying in in the evenings and being able to still enjoy some swim and make food was very convenient.
