We enjoyed our three days Snowboarding at Loveland and staying in town at Idaho Springs. The house had plenty of space, a great kitchen and ultra fast internet. Dan was very responsive and welcoming and we would gladly stay again. Thanks Dan!

We loved being walking distance to all the neat places on Main St. We spent 3 days at Arapahoe Basin, the house location was perfect for those trips. More neat towns such as Frisco, Breckenridge and Denver are all close to make fun day trips during our stay. We arrived just after Idaho Springs received almost 3' of snow. Parking out back was a little scary the first couple of days but it all worked out. Dan was responsive and helpful to my questions. Since we have to park behind the house, it would be helpful if the door code was on the backdoor too. The house is lovely. Plenty of space for our crew of five. If we ever make a trip back, we would choose it again.

We enjoyed our stay very much! We loved walking around town with the kids because everything is so close! We also liked just walking to go have a drink and dinner because everything is so close! The house was perfect for our stay! We had it full, but never felt crowded or cluttered! Plenty of everything you need like toilet paper, towels, and basic things. I’ve stayed at plenty of places that give limited amounts of toilet paper and things- which can be frustrating. It snowed 3 ft when we were there and he had salt ready at the door and snow shovels readily available. The kids were able to play in the snow in the back yard.

Place was great! We stayed in Idaho Springs so we could be at a lower elevation for a ski trip. Location was walking distance to several restaurants, close to the grocery and highway, and about an hour from Copper, Winter Park, and DEN airport. Beds were very comfortable. House was stocked with basics, and had a unique feel. Overall, we loved the place and would definitely stay here again!

Dan's house in Idaho Springs was a perfect location for our two families getting four kids (ages 4-7) on the ski slopes for the first time. We picked Idaho Springs over Dillon/Frisco because it was about the same distance to the budget-minded Loveland Valley. Idaho Springs seems to have more to do on the shorter/off days at the slopes. Dan's house has plenty of room to spread out, a huge kitchen with a center island for gathering around, and a dining room table that easily accomodates eight. Plus, it's one block from the great little Idaho Springs shops and restaurants. We highly recommend it for larger groups heading to Loveland Ski area, the hot springs, or any other activity in the region.
