Alstonefield was a real gem. The park and pitch within walking distance of the house was great for the kids to run off some energy at night. Debra and Jamie couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. We greatly enjoyed the stay!

We had a wonderful time recently at Debra and Jamie’s place. The house felt much larger than the photos suggested and was very comfortable. The weather was not always so great when we visited, so it was brilliant to find many board games at the house. There are many walks in the area (Debra and Jamie have a useful local guidebook) and the surroundings are really beautiful. One piece of advice, it is best to arrive during daylight and follow Debra’s detailed instructions and exact postcode (our car satnav let us down!). I would definitely recommend staying at Debra and Jamie’s for a lovely break/holiday in the Peak District.

Clays View House exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a stylish and impeccably designed interior. Every detail seemed to have been thoughtfully considered, making our stay not just comfortable but truly memorable. The location in the picturesque Peak District added an extra layer of charm to our visit. Waking up to breathtaking views and being surrounded by the natural beauty of the area was a highlight of our trip. What truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and attentive hospitality of the team, Debra and Jamie. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was evident in every interaction, making us feel like valued guests. In summary, Clays View House is a hidden gem that combines style, thoughtful design, and a stunning location in the Peak District. We can't thank Debra and Jamie enough for making our stay unforgettable. We look forward to returning to this idyllic retreat in the future.

Excellent!! The cottage is immaculately clean, and has everything you could possibly need without being cluttered. Despite being on the side of the main house it’s very private, set in a beautiful peaceful village, with some really great local walks and pubs. We particularly enjoyed watching the village cricket during sunset on Sunday afternoon whilst our daughter played on the swings. Debra was very attentive and helpful without being intrusive. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to others!

Had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage, the cottage has everything you need and felt so cosy. There are lovely walks from the doorstep and the scenery is fantastic. We hope to stay again in the near future.
