Our stay here was amazing. The flat is beautiful and even more spacious and cosy than pictured, homely and well stocked with useful bits. It’s really well situated and served as a great base to travel into the national park. Kendal was lovely and we’d recommend Sapore for great food and cocktails. Sally and Dave are great hosts, very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we got the dates we wanted (thank you!). Would happily return and I’m sure it won’t be long until we’re back!

Where do I start. Sallys place was absolutely gorgeous, the photos really don’t do it justice. The place was very charming with lots of character and was extremely clean throughout. The location was perfect, close to all amenities and very easy to explore the rest of the lakes. Sally was a great host and was quick to answer any queries. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to visit the Lake District!

Wonderful place to explore Lake District...bus stop and train station 5 minutes round the corner. We stayed 4 nights and booked local restaurants for evening meal. Last day we dropped off our cases at Windermere tourist information office for £10 charge (need to pick up cases by 4.30pm) so gave a full last day to explore Orrest Head in Windermere free of heavy luggage... great view of the lake from the summit. Flat itself is set at perfect temperature so never felt cold, but cosy and warm. Sheets and bedding ultra clean . Sally gives a great welcome pack of eggs, bread coffee and wine. TV has connected to Netflix and Amazon. Would recommend.

A wonderful apartment in Kendal. The place had everything we needed & was very well equipped. The photos don’t do it justice. We would highly recommend to others. Thank you Sally for a lovely stay.
