Suhela’s cottage is charming and eclectic with lovely bird art throughout the cottage. It is in a lovely peaceful location but is quite close to lots of Bruny Island’s attractions - perfect for accessing lots of activities for the Bruny Island bird festival. Our 2 labs - and niece - enjoyed this dog friendly holiday cottage.

A peaceful week of sunshine, rest and much fun for our family regroup! Suhela’s place is in an amazing location with the best views - a great base to explore all that Bruny has to offer !

Our family of four loved our stay at Wylah Cottage; a peaceful, naturelover’s haven, with plenty of rustic character and heart. Suhela has thoughtfully provided all you’ll need at her well-equipped cottage; a Bruny coastal shack lovingly restored and full of interesting coastal artworks and treasures. Wylah is centrally located, so you can easily access both north and south of the island and all its offerings, yet hidden away from the crowds. Enjoy lovely vistas from the verandah or sunroom, and the gardens and trees alive with birdsong. Resident wildlife abounds, including wallabies, and even the rare swift parrots stop by! If you’re after hotel style accommodation, this probably isn’t for you; there are some old quirks at Wylah… but, if you’re after cottage charm, peace and space to unwind, a beautiful location - and a wonderful host - then Wylah Cottage is a rare gem waiting for you.
