We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah's place. At first there were a few things we were not sure about, such as the compostable toilet and the basic kitchen equipment but the place very quickly grew on us. We very much needed the getaway and being surrounded by nature so close to the beach you can hear the waves crash was just what the doctor ordered. The place is quaint but cosy and has everything you need to be comfortable. Seeing so much wildlife so close to the accommodation was wonderful. The beach was magnificent and had great little waves. The bed was super comfortable and the hay walls gave the place a super cosy feel. If you don't mind leaving some of life's creature comforts at home then this is the place for you.

The house was pretty nice, great location, very private and overall we really enjoyed our stay. We had the fire going but it didn’t seem to heat the whole house very well so it was a touch cold. The oven was a bit hard to use, but again we had a really good time! Thanks Sarah for your accomodation!

Hi Sarah, The location was lovely and we enjoyed the privacy and the easy access to many nice locations as well as the beach . However, the property/inside the house was poorly maintained. Upon entry into the house, we were greeted by spider webs inside the house with a dead huntsman. At first we didn’t think much of it and cleaned it up. The floor and the dining table was also dusty/had dirt and have insects crawling on the floor giving off a dirty vibe. More spiders and spider webs were found in the bathroom and toilet next to the mirror and around window frames, the hot water stopped working after 10mins with kitchen appliances such as oven not working. There was mosquito inside the house (windows always closed), woke up next morning with bites everywhere. Mouse dropping was also cleaned from the bench followed by mouse sighting later that night which made us feel extremely uncomfortable staying here. Contacted owner however her response was poor with no resolution.

Overall, we loved our stay at Three Little Pigs. To have beautiful Neck Beach all to ourselves- just a short walk away through attractive bush, was an incredible treat. Other highlights were the toys and books for the kids, which kept them happily occupied, the wood stove with plenty of paper, kindling and logs available, the well stocked kitchen and milk/pancake mix on arrival and the composting system, which aligns with our values. Our only suggestions for improvement- the place was generally quite dusty, especially the floor and around the oval bedroom window. Also, our son slipped over on the rug near the sofa - it would be great if a sticky underlay could be put down to keep it in place. A tip for other travellers- pick up some supplies for breakfast before you board the ferry or make sure you make it to the general store in Alonnah before it closes. Dinner at Hotel Bruny and a walk along the beach opposite is not to be missed!

The house, it’s surroundings & Sarah’s assistance was second to none! I would definitely venture back & stay here as well as recommend to others. The place was so incredibly peaceful & private. Spacious, clean & it had everything I needed. Sarah was amazing & responsive, from the moment I booked until I checked out - thank you!!
