Superb place. On a dirt road, feels a million miles from everything in the best possible way. Can walk down to the water and there’s a viewing platform there. House was very clean and had everything we needed (two kids - 11 and 9). The only thing I’d add is a bench seat out front to make it easier to get shoes on and off. Super close to Bruny hotel which is great and we saw beautiful sunsets there. There is a convenience store opposite the pub too, but shut for holidays when we were there. Bread fridge 2 minutes away - with the most delicious bread - we picked our up at 9pm so worth checking even late in the day. David was proactive with his communication and the whole process was very easy. A lovely stay! Highly recommended.
A good location to depart from to see the island. Great privacy also.
Lovely spot to stay and explore Bruny. A comfy, cozy space in the cooler evenings with the wood heater. Heaps of outside space for the kids to play and explore
A very comfortable, clean, and cosy stay. It is a perfect quiet setting with plenty of room for kids to play outside. Ideal spot out of the way and a convenient distance for discovering the southern island.
Magnificent! A beautiful and peaceful location, all the amenities and more for our stay. Wish we stayed longer - will definitely return and recommend to others!!!

We operate a dynamic family business 365 days/year, and we love hospitality! We are pleased to manage a number of vacation homes and shacks for Tasmanian families, and take great pride in connecting individuals and families with amazing places to explore. We love our beautiful island state, and we love helping others to share in enjoying it! When we aren't being AirBnB hosts, we're running meals and pouring drinks at Hotel Bruny, pruning the orchard for Bruny Island Cider, having fun with photography, paddle-boarding in the d'Entrecasteaux channel, skiing, kayaking, washing dishes, flying planes, composting a few tonnes of scraps/year, chopping wood, painting pictures, learning languages, designing stuff, raising chickens, and most importantly - raising a family. We like craft beer, sparkling water, slow food and a vibrant life. We love being here. Ask us anything - we would love to help.
