Definitely a good location to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Not much in the actual town you stay in (Empire). But central to everything you could travel to.

There is so much to love about Holly and her carriage house. The space is super cozy, peaceful, and walking friendly. Holly brought over some yummy goodies for my mornings and fruit I took on my Saturday hikes. She is super responsive and shared great ideas for my stay. The neighbors are far enough away, it's quiet, and the beds very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. The SB Dunes Welcome Center is right down the street. Super helpful there too as I bought my park pass. I will definitely look to stay here on my next trip up.

What a phenomenal stay! From the food to the location to the hospitality, Holly's place was incredible. We were in the carriage house, which was so comfortable and charming (do know that it has a spiral staircase, so climb wisely!) We can't wait to return.
