Mixed bag - It's difficult to write this review, because the house itself is quite nice. The setup is great for families or small groups. Really enjoyed the main living area and the extensive decks and views (the sunsets are beautiful). The house is easy to get to and is close to shops and restaurants. I was a bit surprised about the street noise and the pool across the street leaves a little to be desired but overall, the house is really nice. That being said...what isn't as nice is the wild fluctuation in rates - the fact that it is advertised at half the rate that we actually paid per night (before fees). To see the rate go down over $100 per night just two days after we left... when it's not even high season is really disheartening. To then have hefty fees on top, to have to get insurance (because there is a no cancelation policy), to pay $$$ for linens and then not to have toiletries included (especially for a short stay) is just crazy. We paid more in fees and other add ons than we did the nightly fee (which was already high). Staying here feels a bit like traveling with Spirit Airlines. Initially you feel that you are getting a good deal, but by the time you learn all the details (fine print) and pay all the fees it feels quite the opposite and doesn't leave you with an overall positive experience. For the money we paid in total, we could have stayed in a really nice resort with quite a few more amenities. Just make sure you know what you are signing up for.

Modern, spacious townhouse overlooking bays and marshes west of Chincoteague. Great living space including outside decks on three levels. Convenient location to town (walkable). Seaside Vacations is very organized, and communicates well throughout entire process from initial reservation, through checkin and checkout. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic location with amazing sunset views! We loved everything about our stay here-walkable to town for restaurants and shops. It was a very easy ride to Chincoteague beach as well and we were able to see the horses out grazing. We would highly recommend this house and visiting Chincoteague-we hope to be back soon!
