Nicer and better kitted out house than expected, even from the photos. Susan was very friendly and helpful at all times, answering questions clearly regarding the stairs, and access to the conservatory, which were particularly important for my elderly parents. I also asked if it might be possible to "check out" a bit later than advertised and if arriving a bit earlier would be a problem. After checking with her cleaner, she quickly responded to advise that that would be fine. As we expected to eat out a fair bit, including on the first night, I requested in advance of our stay any recommendations, and again Susan responded in plenty of time with lots of suggestions. My parents were so impressed and grateful that they wanted to write a little note of thanks to Susan, but didn't as we had no paper or a card. All on all, a great stay, thank you.

A fabulous cottage; comfortable, warm, well maintained and equipped. Sadly, the weather was a bit damp and cold during our break, but the cottage was cosy and warm throughout our stay. It’s quite spacious too, with the large conservatory overlooking the lovely garden, which is full of bird life. We spotted 14 species including 2 Greater Spotted Woodpeckers and several Nuthatches! We’re not even keen birdwatchers! We had a very enjoyable and relaxing week. Thank you.

The cottage is in a really beautiful and isolated setting, on a very quiet lane, with walks from the door. Inside, it is spacious and cosy and very well equipped. Susan was a very friendly, responsive host, who had thought of everything we might need. It was an incredibly relaxing stay. The perfect place to explore the hills and lake.

We stayed here for Christmas and we couldn’t have picked a nicer place. I don’t think I’ve been in an Airbnb as clean as this one before! The location was great, it really felt like we were out in the countryside, nice unplugging from city life. There was bird food for the feeders outside of the conservatory, so we got to do some amazing bird watching. It’s bigger than it looks in the pictures, a perfect size for a family of 4.

Third week here having extended our stay due to a water leak in our own house. Susan was very helpful and the accommodation is lovely to relax in and very homely and relaxing at a stressful tim!!
