Wake up to mountain views from your bed. Centrally located to local attractions in the Ellijay/Blue Ridge area including Long Creek Falls, Noontootla Falls, and Amicalola Falls. Tube the Cartecay River. Shoot Clays at Noontootla Creek Farms. Minutes from Springer Mountain, the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. You will have the entire space to yourself on a 1.5 acre lot at the top of the mountain. The cabin offers a fire pit, grill, a variety of card and board games. Knotty pine siding and ceilings in every room. Panoramic windows to enjoy the year round view. Vintage glider swing on the porch. Cast iron wood burning fireplace (seasonal to winter months) Private without being isolated. The drive up to the cabin is several miles up a well maintained gravel road from Doublehead Gap Road. It has bumps here and there, but we regularly make the drive in a sedan. Be sure to either enter the address into gps before leaving town or have the directions written down. You are likely to lose cell service on the drive up, but the cabin has a cell signal booster, so you will be more likely to have service at the cabin. The cabin has Dish Network for TV. Internet is available, but bandwidth is limited. You should have no problem streaming Netfilx or other apps in the living room, but if too many devices are connected, things can get slow The cabin is a 30 minute drive to East Ellijay for most shopping needs, with a Dollar General 20 minutes away for other things, so we recommend stocking up on supplies before coming to the cabin. The drive to Blue Ridge is approximately 35 minutes.
